Urinary Tract Infection Home Remedy vs. Antibiotics

With that being said it is imperative to treat a UTI as quickly as possible.

Who gets a UTI?

Some people are asymptomatic which means that they don't show the usual tell-tale signs associated with a urinary tract infection. In these cases a proper diagnosis should be carried out to confirm the presence of an infection all the more so if you are sexually active and have the tendency to to hold back from urinating for long periods of time.

Natural or Drug-based Treatment?

Upon proper diagnosis and if E.coli is responsible for the UTI then your physician will recommend a course of antibiotics.  Antibiotics will work because it gets rid of all the bacteria (good and harmful bacteria). However antibiotics can also cause the urinary tract to become unbalanced, and this will increase the tendency of UTI recurrence.

Furthermore in many patients with recurring UTIs, antibiotics are no longer effective as the body becomes immune to them. It is reported that UTIs will come back to over 25% of the antibiotic users who relied on this form of treatment.

This is where a natural urinary tract infection remedy comes in - natural remedies strengthens your body's immune system so that the body can naturally fight off the infection itself.

There are number of urinary tract infection home remedies that widely available and easy to use.
